I’m not sure what “honest mistake” means. Do you make dishonest ones? And if so, how?
I’m pretty sure my mistake was honest. I was going to announce after Saturday what my big Saturday announcement was. Technically, this is still happening, just not in the timeframe I first imagined.
Saturday I attended a Writers2Writers get together here in town. It was great. Writers arrived from Spokane, Idaho Falls, the Tri-Cities, Walla Walla, and points between. The sole intent of the shindig was to mingle. And to drink wine. I don’t know about you, but for me there is a direct relationship between the two. drinking wine = mingling because get a bit of vino in me and I cannot shut up. So, maybe my understanding of “mingling” is incorrect. This explains so… freaking… much. However, it is not germane to this blog post.
Over the past few weeks I’ve been involved with a group of authors/librarians/uber-techy types. There are 5 of us. Our quest was to create a website for Young Adult readers and writers of Washington State. We debuted this site at the Writers2Writers get-together. I have to say, I was really… really… proud. The site is http://www.ya-wa.com We have author interviews, a map of book settings, authors, and bookstores in Washington State, a discussion forum, you name it. Very, very cool. We also have a Twitter account (@ya-wa) and a facebook page. Join it!
And, as if that isn’t cool enough, the very first post on our blog is by yours truly. Check it out for a little insight to just how bizarre and socially inept I am. You’ll see I was born with it. Honest! http://www.ya-wa.com/?p=603
But I’m still trying to figure out what honest mistakes and dishonest ones are.
